Health & Safety Manager
Job Location: Derry/L’Derry
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for our client who can contribute to the Health & Safety coordination across the organisation, and in addition support and develop their policies to reduce potential risks.
The successful candidate will be NEBOSH Certified with a minimum of 5 years experience performing in a similar role within the construction sector.
Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Senior Management Team
* Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
* Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislations
* Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
* Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors
* Ensure that regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
* Ensure that all accidents / incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
* Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety processes within the company
* Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
* Attend meetings with Senior Management
* Attend Site Meetings
* Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company
Health & Safety Manager Specification:
* Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
* 5 years plus experience in a similar position
* Able manage a Health & Safety team
* Excellent communicator
* NEBOSH Cert
* Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
* Full driving licence
