The Role You and your Team The Pricing Modelling team is a Centre of Excellence, developing and evolving pricing models across the bank’s products, including Credit Cards, Vehicle Finance, Second Charge Mortgages, and Savings. These models are central to embedding data-driven insight into pricing and commercial decisions to support sustainable profitability. As a Senior Analyst, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of pricing and profitability models and performance tracking. You will play a key role in shaping next-generation, cloud-based modelling capabilities, enabling faster, smarter, and more flexible decision-making across the business. As a Senior Analyst, you will: Support the design, development, innovation, and maintenance of profitability and pricing models and tracking suites. Evolve pricing model capabilities through increased automation, enhanced granularity, and intuitive user interfaces on a next-generation, cloud-based analytics platform. Embed business strategies and levers with data-driven customer performance to translate key drivers into financial outcomes such as RoTE and PBT Partner with teams across the business to support high-quality profitability and financial decision-making for customers and shareholders Implement strong controls, automation, and governance to ensure models and tools are accurate, robust, and trusted. Ensure models remain fit for purpose through effective monitoring, recalibration, and redevelopment Identify and drive improvements in modelling approaches, processes, and tools through innovative and inquisitive analysis What We’re Looking For A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and evolve pricing models and tools within a modern, cloud-based, data-driven environment Experience delivering accurate, actionable forecasts and insights that enable senior leaders to make data-driven decisions, optimising customer acquisition and profitability A collaborative analytics professional who shares knowledge and best practice, contributing positively to the wider analytics community Proven experience in forecasting, financial planning, or analytics, ideally within financial services Strong understanding of the key value drivers of lending products such as Credit Cards, Loans, or Vehicle Finance Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Python, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or SAS Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders up to Executive level Offers are subject to standard background checks (credit, fraud and employment references).
