We take pride in looking after our vehicles and are now looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic.*The Role*This is a *lone-working position, *ideal for an experienced and self-motivated HGV Mechanic. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of HGV's and 3rd party vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant and kept to a high standard. This is a hands-on role where your skills and experience will be valued. Working independently while liasing with management as required.*Duties** Servicing, maintaining, and repairing, of HGV's* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults* MOT preparation and safety inspections* Ensuring all work meets DVSA standards* Read and interpret schematics* Completing job cards and basic paperwork* Keeping the workshop clean and organised* Communicate with Drivers for any reported defects*What We're Looking For** Experience working as an HGV Mechanic / Technician* Relevant Qualifications (NVQ 3 or equivalent preferred)* Strong fault finding skills* Ability to work independently and take responsibilty* HGV licence an advantage but not essential* Reliable, Practical and Good AttitudeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £18.00-£20.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 45 per weekBenefits:* Company pension* Free parking* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
