The Mackenzie resource centre for older adults is seeking a social care worker to assist with the development of the service. The position is based at the centre which provides a five‑day service 0900‑1600hrs Monday to Friday; plans are to expand this to 7 days so weekend availability will be required. The role requires an understanding of outcome‑focused person‑centred working and experience supporting people living with dementia who display stress and distress. You will work alongside social care and healthcare colleagues following a programme of input for individuals who attend the Mackenzie centre and will have the opportunity to undertake key‑worker roles.
