Key Responsibilities
* Process and maintain accurate records of purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
* Handle invoice processing, supplier payments, and customer receipts
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or queries
* Assist with bank reconciliations and posting to the general ledger
* Support month-end and year-end processes
* Manage employee expenses
About You
* Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
* Solid understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliation
* Good working knowledge of Sage (desired not essential)
* Strong IT skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs desirable)
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
