Your new roleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery and administration of grant schemes within a public sector environment. This is a 12-month contract offering the opportunity to make a measurable impact by managing funding initiatives that support community, economic, and sector development.
* Lead end-to-end management of grant schemes, including development, launch, administration, monitoring, and close-down.
* Ensure all grant processes meet governance, audit, and compliance standards.
* Coordinate stakeholder engagement across internal teams, partner agencies, and external applicants.
* Track project milestones, analyse data, and produce clear progress updates and reports for senior leadership.
* Manage project risks, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
* Oversee financial administration of grant programmes, including budget monitoring and payment scheduling.
* Support continuous improvement by reviewing processes and recommending enhancements.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience delivering projects within public sector and/or local government settings.
* Prior involvement in the administration and management of grant funding schemes is essential.
* Strong understanding of public sector governance, compliance frameworks, and reporting standards.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
* Confident analysing data, preparing reports, and presenting updates to stakeholders.
