We are looking for a hands-on Learning & Development Manager to lead and deliver training across a fast-paced manufacturing site. You will ensure colleagues at all levels—from new starters to managers—are trained, compliant, and developed, while supporting continuous improvement and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver training on inductions, food safety (HACCP/TACCP), management & leadership, and wellbeing
* Lead and support a team of site trainers, stepping in to deliver when needed
* Manage SVQs, apprenticeships, and external training providers
* Oversee forklift and specialist training (slaughter licence awareness)
* Maintain training records and track learner progress
About You
* Hands‑on L&D experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or engineering
* Confident delivering training at all levels, including management
* Experience managing and developing training teams
* Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
