Unqualified £25,000 – £27,000, Qualified £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, teach and monitor learners’ progress, enabling learners with learning differences to develop confidence, independence and skills for life and work.
* Design and deliver creative, engaging lessons that enable students to achieve aims in all subjects.
* Maintain high educational quality through curriculum planning, lesson differentiation and assessment.
* Ensure all work is marked, records kept, assessment ongoing and learners are on track throughout the year.
* Prepare portfolios to demonstrate learners meeting assessment criteria and maintain high pass rates.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified to PTLLS/AET or equivalent (essential)
* GCSE or equivalent in English and maths at grade C/4 or above (essential)
* Qualified Childcare Level 2 minimum (essential)
* Assessor qualification (desirable)
* Experience working with learners who present learning differences (essential)
* Confidence with delivery (essential)
* Knowledge of EHCPs and SEN qualifications (desirable)
Main Tasks & Responsibilities – Teaching, Learning & Assessment
* Plan for learners’ needs using initial assessment, previous learning and EHCPs.
* Differentiate lesson plans and resources for learner needs as outlined in EHCP documents or observed needs.
* Plan and develop SMART‑appropriate learning plans with monitoring of EHCP outcomes.
* Conduct 1:1 progress reviews with learners.
* Manage behaviour issues in line with policy, with support from the Centre Manager.
* Implement inclusion and equal opportunity policies.
* Utilise learning support assistants and visiting speakers effectively.
* Cover other subject areas as required.
* Organise and implement trips and events for learning.
* Provide encouragement, guidance and support to help learners progress.
* Participate in events/open days and quality reviews as required.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities – Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
* Undertake regular CPD and record it using company documents.
* Pursue suitable qualifications as part of personal learning and development.
* Note: Responsibilities may evolve; subject to periodic review as part of Continuous Professional Development.
