Key Responsibilities of the Immigration Solicitor:
Manage a full private immigration caseload from instruction to conclusion
Handle complex immigration applications, including nationality and asylum matters
Prepare and conduct immigration appeals
Draft detailed representations, witness statements and legal submissions
Advise clients on immigration options, risks and outcomes
Liaise with courts, tribunals, Home Office and counsel as required
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Requirements of the Private Immigration Solicitor:
Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Immigration Caseworker
Immigration & Asylum Accreditation (would be a benefit)
Strong experience handling complex immigration and asylum cases
Appeals experience essential
Excellent drafting, advocacy and client care skills
Ability to manage caseload independently in a fast-paced environment
