Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. Duties
* Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
* Prepare and dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
* Provide patient education on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimise patient care plans, especially for those in ICU settings.
* Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles.
* Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and regulations affecting pharmacy practice.
Skills
* ICU experience is highly desirable to manage complex medication regimens effectively.
* Strong patient care skills to ensure comprehensive support for individuals receiving treatment.
* In-depth knowledge of human anatomy to understand the physiological effects of medications.
* Proficient in medication administration techniques and protocols.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
