We are seeking a talented, experienced, and dedicated candidate to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our branch.
Role Overview: Working as part of the external sales team, your main responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, promoting MKM as the preferred supplier, and converting prospects into regular customers.
You will also maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring excellent customer service. The role involves proactive visits within and around the York area, building lasting relationships, exceeding expectations, and maximizing sales and margins.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a sales role is essential.
* Experience within a builder’s merchant is a distinct advantage.
* Excellent negotiation skills, confidence, enthusiasm, and a full driver’s license are required.
* Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday as needed.
