CareerMakers Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver for Sunday night shifts in the Warrington area. This is a great opportunity to secure regular weekend night work with a well-established logistics company.
Role Details
* Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday night only (you can work both or one of these days)
* Start Time: Night shift Midnight start 00:00
* Location: Warrington
* Pay Rate: £19.08 per hour
* Including Holiday Pay: £21.38 per hour
* Type of Work: Trailer shunting between depots and within the yard – no manual handling required
Key Responsibilities
* Safely move trailers within the yard and between on-site locations
* Carry out yard shunting operations and trailer swaps
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Follow all site rules and health & safety procedures
* Communicate effectively with the transport office and yard teams
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Driving Licence
* Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph
* Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
* Shunting experience preferred but not essential
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
