What you will do
* Manage the day-to-day IT support, on a distributed workforce, covering multiple sites both in the UK and US
* Help the business obtain ISO27001 by ensuring technical controls and governance activities are correctly implemented
* Own the IT estate
* Analyse processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement, providing business cases for new solutions
* Help drive the business forward through better use of technology, process and procedure
* Build out the IT function with the support of an IT consultant
* Manage business SaaS applications and optimise MDM tooling
* Manage procurement and provision of both hardware and software systems
* Take responsibility for IT support processes and tickets
* Train employees to use software and hardware
* Develop and test procedures such as Disaster Recovery, Incident response, etc. with other stakeholders
* Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and improvements in IT infrastructure and practices
* Serve as a liaison with external vendors, partners, and service providers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure service quality
* Manage budget responsibility
Requirements
* You have strong problem-solving abilities, as well as a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
* You are flexible and adapt to changing priorities, working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* You’re a strong communicator to staff and stakeholders at all levels
* Understanding of ISO27001, GDPR and data protection regulations is crucial
* You have a track record of delivering IT projects in a high-growth distributed environment
* You have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, with hands-on experience in implementing security measures and protocols
* You understand Risk management and the impact on Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of business data
* You have experience implementing and maintaining an ISMS (Information Security Management System)
* You are experienced with: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 suite, Windows and MacOS support, Jumpcloud MDM, Hibob HRIS system, Ubiquiti unifi, and collaboration tooling such as Slack and Notion
