An opportunity is now available for a Vice President, International Benefits to work for a international Financial Services business. A Senior role overseeing international benefits across 26 countries. We are seeking an experienced benefits leader to drive the strategy, delivery, and continuous evolution of our global benefits offering across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Reporting to the Head of International Employment Tax, Benefits Strategy & Global Mobility (with matrix reporting to senior HR and global benefits leadership), this role provides strategic oversight while leading a small London-based specialist and an India-based shared services benefits administration team. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for a dynamic professional with strong commercial acumen, resilience in complex multi-jurisdictional environments, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional employee experiences. You will balance strategic planning with operational execution, ensuring our benefits remain competitive, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with business growth. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Lead the execution and ongoing refinement of international benefits and pension strategy across multiple regions. Conduct regular reviews of offerings, policies, and programmes to align with legislative changes, market trends, cost efficiency, ROI, and employee needs. Partner with business leaders, HR, and global stakeholders to enhance benefits, wellbeing, and total reward programmes. Compliance & Governance Ensure full compliance with benefits-related regulatory and reporting requirements in all jurisdictions. Maintain robust controls via process audits, risk mitigation, and compliance reviews. Facilitate governance activities (e.g., pension committees), partnering with chairs and stakeholders; present strategy updates to regional/executive leadership as needed. Vendor & Relationship Management Manage key relationships with brokers, providers, and suppliers; lead annual renewals, performance reviews, and negotiations. Oversee a comprehensive vendor framework (due diligence, SLAs, risk assessment, monitoring). Operations & Delivery Provide leadership, training, and oversight to the offshore benefits operations team; drive process optimisation and quality. Design and implement efficient end-to-end benefits administration processes (including payroll/HRIS integration). Lead benefits integration for new locations, expansions, and M&A activity. Communication & Engagement Develop and execute benefits communication strategies and employee engagement initiatives to boost awareness and utilisation. Serve as trusted SME/advisor to employees, managers, and HR partners on benefits matters. Tailor communications for diverse cultural and geographic contexts. Essential Qualifications & Experience 10 years of progressive, hands-on benefits leadership experience, with proven success delivering international benefits programmes (financial services/asset management experience strongly preferred). Deep expertise in benefits legislation, compliance, and market practices across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Track record in end-to-end benefits operations: vendor management, payroll/HRIS integration, process design, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience leading offshore/shared services teams and driving efficiency/automation initiatives. Proficiency with HR technology platforms and data analytics; experience with Workday or similar advantageous. Strong commercial/analytical skills to evaluate complex scenarios, business cases, and ROI.
