Forres Relief Support Practitioners
£13.45 per hour.
Ark Forres support practitioners work with people across a wide age range, most living independently in their own homes or accommodation. Support varies from 5 to 24 hours per week, with highly variable shift patterns, aiming to promote independence and improve quality of life.
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicating and working well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
* Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.
What is Relief?
As a Relief Support Practitioner, you do not have contracted hours. This provides flexibility, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your availability. Relief work is offered on an as and when basis to cover sickness absence, study leave, and other staffing needs. We cannot guarantee regular or ongoing work, as demand may vary over time.
