Field Based Vehicle Technician - Wakefield

Location: Wakefield • Type: Permanent • Hours: Full-time
Join the RAC. Together, were going places. This is a field-based role for a qualified motor industry technician who will examine vehicles, components and trade premises, producing condition reports and providing technical feedback on findings. You will have the support of a wider network of mobile mechanics, roadside technicians, in-house experts and RAC professionals, with ongoing training and potential for progression.

* Salary: £33,112 with an OTE of up to £38,000 and an exceptional career progression plan
* Full time hours with opportunities for overtime, paid at 1.5x hourly rate
* Work pattern of 35-hours weekly, Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm
* Holiday allowance of 23 days (rising to 25 with service) + bank holidays

Youll need
* A Level 3 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* A minimum of 3 years practical experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade working with different types of light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
