Offer description

About the role

Vico Homes is built on the foundations of WDH. We are looking for an Admin Officer to join our Property Investment Team.

A home is more than four walls and a roof. It should be a safe place. A place to start things. A place of opportunities. A place to grow. A place where you feel you belong.

These are the places we provide for today and for the future. This is what marks us out as one of the leading players in the social housing sector. We have over 32,000 homes across the north of England, home to tens of thousands of people. And people are at the centre of what we do.

Our people are approachable and professional. But we’re not afraid to be optimistic and show our passion for what we do to support our customers. We share a common vision, acting confidently to ensure we remain at the forefront of making it happen.

Together, we’re building better futures and vibrant communities.

As the Admin Officer your manager will be our Support Team Supervisor. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford.

What you’ll do

* Provide comprehensive administrative support, including accurate record‑keeping, report writing, minute taking and general office duties.
* Act as the first point of contact for customers, tradespeople and colleagues, resolving enquiries with professionalism and confidence.
* Distribute work orders and ensure contractors and tradespeople have the necessary information to deliver services safely and effectively.
* Maintain and update business systems and service documentation to support operational activities and performance targets.
* Collaborate with management, colleagues and external partners to overcome challenges and contribute to an efficient, high‑quality service delivery.

What we’re looking for

* You will hold a Level 2 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework, such as GCSEs (three or more at grades 9–4/A–C), or an equivalent Award, Certificate, or Diploma.
* You bring proven experience in office administration or a housing‑related field, demonstrating your ability to support operational teams effectively.
* Clear verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to liaise confidently with colleagues, contractors and customers while producing clear and accurate documentation.

For more details on what we’re looking for in this role, please see the Job Description below.
