Business Services Group has a requirement for a Group Financial Accountant to support the group consolidation and preparation of the UK statutory accounts for a 12 month contract. What will the Group Reporting Accountant role involve? Reporting to the Head of Group reporting, the main responsibilities of the contract position will include: Support in the production of the UK statutory accounts, group consolidation and monthly performance reviews for various entities; Perform regular reviews of the consolidated financial accounts, identifying any issues and assisting the finance team in resolving them; Assist with the preparation of associated documentary requirements for Yea End external audit for Group’s financial statements including liaison and management of the external auditors; Review of existing systems and processes, managing, improving and implementing changes to financial systems where necessary. Suitable Candidate for the Group Financial Accountant vacancy: Applicants for the role will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with previous experience or undertaking a similar position.
