Description
Working within the wider Finance team, the Finance Assistant wll be responsible for providing support to the Financial Operations Team covering Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
This position is a vital component of the business, and is responsible for:
1. Manipulation of data to produce customer invoices
2. Assisting with payment and collection activities
3. Accurate and timely posting of supplier invoices and credit notes
4. Dealing with internal and external queries
5. Preparation of monthly reconciliations
6. Reconciling bank in multi-currencies
7. Completeness and accuracy of supplier & Customer data across all accounting platforms
8. Assisting with the timely completion of month end processes and the production of monthly reports
9. Ensuring all activities are compliant with relevant financial policies.
10. Preparing and posting journals
11. Ad hoc support to the finance team
Requirements

20. Previous experience in a finance role
Bonus Skills:
21. AAT foundation level (equivalent) or above
22. Advanced Excel skills
23. Use of Sage / Xero
