Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Highway Electrician to join our well established client.
Responsibilities:
Structural Testing of assets including visual inspection complemented with non-destructive testing.
Electrical testing of the circuitry to establish if the lighting column is structurally and electrically safe.
Electrical testing comprises of Continuity of Conductors, Insulation Resistance, SELV and PELV, Polarity, Earth Fault Loop Impedance, Earth Electrode, Positive Fault Current, Functional Testing and Verification Voltage Drop.
Working away from home in most instances and in an outdoor environment.
Requirements:
Certified to BS 7671 IET WIRING REGULATIONS.
18th Edition.
An Advanced Technical Diploma in Electrical Installations level 3 Inspection and Testing C&G 2391.
Registered and assessed on HERS (Highways Electrical Register).
Salary: £31,200 - £49,920 Per Annum.
Working hours: 8am – 4:30pm (Night shifts are also a requirement).
