About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Machine Setter to join a leading manufacturer of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, based in Corby, Northamptonshire. This company specialises in the development and production of high-quality rigid plastic products, supplying a wide range of industries including the NHS.
As a Machine Setter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production lines, maintaining high standards of quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and run allocated production lines efficiently, meeting company targets for output and quality.
* Maintain optimal machine utilisation and material efficiency.
* Ensure consistent production quality in line with company standards.
* Perform duties within agreed timescales and maintain accurate production records.
* Support equipment care, tooling maintenance, and general housekeeping.
* Work flexibly to cover vacant shifts where required.
* Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
