We’re looking for a Construction Finance Assistant to join our dynamic construction team based in the beautiful surroundings of St John’s Town of Dalry.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of numbers, systems, and people — supporting project managers and clients with financial insights and reporting that keep our construction projects running smoothly and sustainably.
What You’ll Do
* Manage and support the invoicing process for construction projects
* Assist in budget tracking, internal/external financial reporting, and forecasting
* Support the monthly management accounts process including accruals, prepayments and WIP
* Be a key finance liaison, responding to internal and external finance queries
* Work closely with clients and project managers to manage fees, variations, and updates
* Help close projects, maintain system data, and contribute to pipeline reporting
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
* Strong IT skills – especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A full UK driving licence (due to rural office location)
Desirable:
* Finance or accountancy qualifications
* Knowledge of project budgeting and invoicing processes
* Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
* A background in construction or renewable energy
