Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN
2. Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
3. Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
4. Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes progress and well-being
5. Collaborate with staff, parents/carers, and external professionals to support pupil development
6. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
The ideal candidate will have:
7. Experience supporting children with special educational needs (in a school or similar setting)
8. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
10. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Relevant qualifications (, Level 2/3 TA or SEN training) are desirable but not essential if you have strong experience and a willingness to learn.
