We are seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our team of Police Chaplaincy Volunteers. Volunteer chaplains support officers, staff and their families through times of crisis or need and offer pastoral care services to the Constabulary in general.
Responsibilities
* Provide practical and spiritual care regardless of faith or background.
* Respond with empathy to situations affecting officers, staff and families that may be emotionally traumatic.
* Reflect spiritual and ethical values, offering support to all.
* Attend to your own welfare and well‑being, with support available if needed.
Eligibility and Requirements
* Prior chaplaincy experience is helpful but not essential.
* Three‑year checkable history in the UK, ideally as a resident for the last three years.
* Complete an enhanced DBS check; all volunteers are subject to safeguarding and safer recruitment procedures.
* At least one reference able to comment on your interactions with young and/or vulnerable people in a personal, voluntary or employment capacity.

Applications will be shortlisted on 3th June 2025.
Interviews are planned for 10th June 2025.
