General Dynamics in St Leonards-on-Sea currently provides avionic mission computing systems for a wide range of military fast jets, helicopters, and UAVs. Recent success has resulted in developing the next generation of Advanced High Performance, Safety Critical Mission Computer Systems to meet the needs of latest platforms in development by several aircraft manufacturers. These Mission Computing Systems provide the functionality that integrates aircraft systems, sensor systems, and stores management systems with the information and control systems required by the aircrew to meet the demanding operational needs of these aircraft.
Job Description
You will join an established team providing administrative and practical support to maintain our Hastings facilities. Responsibilities include supporting the successful delivery of various facilities and cross-functional project work, while maintaining robust records management and department administration.
Day-to-day activities may include:
1. Maintaining administration of facilities and Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) records, reports, and compliance certifications.
2. Managing the Facilities & SHE shared mailboxes.
3. Raising and organizing requisitions and receipting POs; acting as a point of contact for Accounts Payable.
4. Providing escort as required to third-party facilities and SHE contractors.
5. Supporting delivery of desk moves and space management initiatives.
6. Performing regular post runs between Hastings site.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Educated to GCSE level.
* Knowledge and working capability with MS packages.
* Interest in building facilities management and maintenance schemes.
* Ability to problem solve and multitask.
* Effective communication skills, able to adapt style and build strong working relationships internally at various levels as well as externally, e.g., contractors and external agencies.
Desirable:
* Trade or tools experience beneficial but not essential.
* Working Safely or equivalent beneficial but not essential.
Additional Information
We offer a salary of between 22,800 - 27,800 per annum, depending on experience and qualification, plus a flexible benefits package.
