£26,000 - £38,000 Dependant on experience and hours
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Operations team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S professional to help drive a positive safety culture across the site while supporting operational excellence.
The successful candidate will work closely with site management and operational teams to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and compliance are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety Coordinator
1. Present Health & Safety monitoring reports at Daily Review Meetings and support mitigation planning.
2. Conduct static and dynamic risk assessments alongside functional teams.
3. Carry out site monitoring activities including behavioural safety observations, GEMBA walks, hazard identification and unsafe act reporting.
4. Support the Health & Safety forum by producing and analysing KPI data and trends.
5. Assist managers with safety incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions, sharing lessons learned across the wider UK business.
