Accounts Assistant - Temporary Maternity Cover (Minimum 6 Months)
Location: Lisburn
Hours: 38 per week Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5:00pm, Fri 8:30am-3:00pm
Rate: £ per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide maternity cover for a minimum of six months. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive finance team within a well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier accounts (Accounts Payable)
2. Managing credit control and issuing invoices (Accounts Receivable)
3. Assisting with tax returns, including VAT and PAYE
4. Completing bank reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals
5. Producing weekly and monthly financial reports
6. Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
7. Supporting with general administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
8. GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths at Grade C or above
9. Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
10. Proficiency in Sage and MS Office applications
11. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
12. Excellent organisational and time management skills
13. Confident communication and interpersonal abilities
