Join to apply for the Senior Residential Support Worker role at Compass Community.
Responsibilities
* Using life skills, help children build self-esteem and accept themselves, supporting their journey into adulthood.
* Develop positive relationships with children, meet their needs, and safeguard them at all times.
* Engage with a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
* In this leadership role, supervise staff, lead shifts, manage policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, coordinate rotas, and ensure placement plans are followed and education is supported.
* Ensure the welfare and care of each child, and provide guidance and support to all residential workers.
Qualifications
* 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in ChildrenYoung People Workforce.
* At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working with young people.
* Valid manual driving license.
