Equans is looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 2) to join our team in The North of England. The Technician will be required to cover areas such as but not limited to; Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Hull, Warrington, Rotherham, Carlisle and Liverpool.
This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
1. Representing EQUANS Technical Compliance Services as a Water Treatment Engineer and/or Risk Assessor to execute the self-delivery of all Water Treatment services across the North of the UK. Some staying away for work may be required
2. Duties will include Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections and Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean and Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling
3. Tier 2 - in addition to Tier 1, Dosing of Inhibitor and Biocide, LTHW Systems Testing and Analysis
4. Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests
5. Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems
6. Ensure all site L8 logbooks where acting as the Primary Technician are in date and accurate

Who are you?
18. City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification relevant to the appropriate Tier grading under job specific
19. Up to date knowledge of technical regulations including Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP. HSG and any other relevant guidance
20. Fault diagnosis and resolution
21. Valid Driving Licence
This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.
