We are currently looking for an experienced baker to prepare a variety of pastries, cakes & baked goods. Your skill in high quality baking should be matched by your passion and creativity to develop new, innovative recipes.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated, able to take their own initiative ,cope well under pressure and be committed to the role.
Must be able to demonstrate:
* A genuine passion for and knowledge of baking
* Excellent and varied baking skills and the ability to follow traditional and modern recipes
* Ability to work under pressure whilst creating quality and quantity with attention to detail and consistency
* Monitor stock and make appropriate orders within budget
* Excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness and knowledge of food health & safety: Food & Safety certification Level 2 required
* Excellent organisational skill, Punctuality and flexibility with working hours
* Work as part of a team
* Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field is preferable but not essential
