* Proposed Salary Range: £42,500 - £45,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
Purpose of the Role
Working as part of a centralised People Services team you’ll be embedded within a Divisional HR team, where you will gain an understanding of the challenges and priorities of the Division, and provide support which enables them to deliver world class content to our audiences.
You will act as a trusted advisor to your business area, understanding and supporting the delivery of the people strategy, and supporting a wide range of day-to-day HR issues and projects.
You’ll manage stakeholder relationships, not only with the business areas but also across the wider HR function, drawing on specialist advice from Reward, HR Systems and Data Analytics.

Key Responsibilities & Impact
* Support the HR Business Partner in developing and implementing solutions aligned to the people strategy to improve organisation effectiveness.
* Work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure tools and policies are aligned, enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance.
* Collaborate across Specialist Teams/People Services Teams to deliver services and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
* Act as a point of escalation for complex queries and requests, ensuring they are resolved or managed appropriately.
* Participate in projects, leading and promoting the BBC’s reputation as a global organisation and employer of choice.
* Be an ambassador for the HR function and represent the BBC HR internally and externally (as appropriate).
Essential Criteria – Skills & Experience
* Previous experience managing or enabling change activity within an organisation (restructuring and reorganisation).
* Breadth of experience across areas such as pay, data, people practices and development.
* Evidence of working with stakeholders (client groups, contracting, managing expectations).
* Evidence of working with data (employee data, financial information, engagement results) and ability to draw insight and data stories.
* Examples of supporting continuous improvement and demonstrating curiosity of approach.
* Evidence of a focus on people experience.
* Role model the BBC values.
