Job Description\n\nHousekeeper\n\nLocation: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital, Nottingham\n\nHours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time\n\nSalary: Depending on experience + Benefits\n\nSummary:\n\nThe site on which Woodthorpe Hospital now stands has provided healthcare to the people of Nottingham since 1877 and is conveniently located towards the north of Nottingham city centre, with excellent on-site parking facilities and access to public transport nearby.\n\nToday, we are a modern well-equipped hospital with 41 private bedrooms (all en-suite) and two operating theatres. We are constantly developing our services and are proud of our comprehensive range of specialist departments and the high standard of care that they allow us to offer all of our guests.\n\nThe role:\n\nWe currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team at the Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital, based in Nottingham.\nAs the Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the respective department, whilst supporting the wider team members across various departments.\n\nProviding a range of housekeeping duties that will include:\n\nMaintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies. Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment).\n\nCarrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements.
Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for patients & visitors.\n\nThis is a challenging but rewarding role and would be ideally suited to a motivated team player.
