Press Specialist – DHL Supply Chain

Position: Press Specialist
Location: Milton Keynes (MK5)
Shift patterns: Monday‑Friday, day time hours (09:00‑17:30)
Contract type: Permanent (Full‑time)
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Lead on the account for all DHL owned activities/tasks; overall responsibility for day‑to‑day running of the brand’s press fleet, coordinating with the Workshop, Body Shop and Logistics team.
* Input bookings from EMS onto Itest drive, ensuring details are accurate and complete.
* Make amendments, cancellations and other requests to bookings.
* Manage press brand vehicle events for launches and other events: book transport, book vehicles, liaise with operations to ensure vehicles are prepped on time.
* Prepare and deliver the monthly brand review presentation; extract and present data via Power BI tools.
* Run monthly invoicing, check output prior to sending to the brands, ensure any necessary changes are actioned and sent on time.
* Set up new vehicles – raise PDI’s, set vehicles up on Itest drive and other systems.
* Manage vehicle registrations and the SORNing of de‑fleet vehicles when required.
* Perform data cleansing to keep all systems accurate and error‑free.
* Build a close working relationship with the brand, maintain high levels of customer service while ensuring compliance with all SLAs and KPIs.
Role Would Suit People Who
* Have previous experience in a customer service/customer‑facing role.
* Possess excellent communication skills at various levels – able to assess individual customer needs.
* Have automotive/fleet experience (desirable, not essential).
* Have strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Can liaise with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
* Are IT‑literate (Excel and Power BI) and can adopt new technologies.
* Can take initiative, influence others and provide first‑class service.
