Administration Manager
Location: Rotherham
Type: Full time – Permanent role - 42.5 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 per annum
With 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs, refurbishment, fire safety, and building maintenance services, Mears is trusted to deliver over 6,000 housing repairs daily to a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide.
About the role:
As an Administration Manager, your role will involve comprehensive oversight and coordination of administrative functions within the branch. Key responsibilities include:
* Line management and mentoring of the administration team
* Ensuring effective leadership and development of the team
* Providing high standards of service to the branch and excellent customer service to clients
* Managing administrative processes, including branch communication, event organization, and financial tasks such as petty cash and overtime
* Maintaining branch site and leading audits and planning
* Ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards
* Meeting strict deadlines for tasks and actions
* Occasional site visits to support operational needs and oversee branch activities
Note: All roles require candidates to have the right to work in the UK. Mears does not offer visa sponsorship. To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points. All roles are subject to DBS/security checks prior to employment.

* Previous experience in office management
* Experience managing a team
* Excellent organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Background in administrative roles
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in high-pressure environments
