We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and knowledgeable experienced Group Facilitator to join our Hertfordshire team to support our Dementia Support Group. Our Group Facilitators all have a shared passion to support people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives!
Location – Hertfordshire (with regular travel across the county) some homeworking required so reliable home Wi-Fi is required.
Hours – 28 per week
Interviews – 16th and 18th December
Alzheimer’s Society are working in partnership with Age UK and Carers in Hertfordshire to deliver the new Dementia Support contract called Memory Support Hertfordshire, managing 22 centre-based activities groups (weekly) across the local area, running carers and Young Onset specific groups both online and face-to face. Our groups are well established and a crucial means of support to service users and carers. This is an exciting time to join as we are in the process of reviewing our groups and we hope that this will result in us developing more groups (respite, specific communities or location specific) in the coming months.
