Overview
A NAVBLUE Aeronautical Analyst - Airspace Navigation is responsible for maintaining safety critical records in NAVBLUE’s aeronautical database which supports a variety of products for pilots and companies in the aviation industry based on the 28-day AIRAC cycle. Record types include aerodromes, runways, waypoints, coordinates, altitudes, airways, and airspace. You will use visual comparison, as well as software, to compare state-published text and images with database records and update the database as required.
Responsibilities
* Compare text and images in new aeronautical publications with existing records in the NAVBLUE database.
* Update records in the database in accordance with structured NAVBLUE procedures, as well as regulatory and customer requirements.
* Using instruction and overarching guidelines, raise queries with aeronautical publication providers to clarify documents and resolve issues.
* Work is reprioritised by senior members of the team, and the employee must be adaptable to these changing requirements.
* Identify quality or non-conformance issue(s), escalate appropriately and perform corrective actions (with guidance).
Required Experience
* Experience working in companies in the aviation/corporate industry
* Working knowledge of Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) publications is an asset

* Excellent verbal and written communication in English
* Demonstrate professional attitude, motivation and enthusiasm towards day-to-day tasks

Education
* Degree in aviation related field is an asset
