We're looking for a Membership Experience Coordinator to be the heartbeat of our club. You'll ensure members feel supported, engaged, and valued throughout their time with us. Your focus will be on maximising member retention by delivering exceptional service, building lasting relationships, and keeping our community motivated.
You'll also play a key role in developing partnerships with local businesses, promoting corporate memberships, wellness collaborations, and outreach initiatives to help grow our club community.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with members to support their fitness journeys and encourage long-term engagement.
* Proactively monitor member activity and implement strategies to boost retention.
* Contact members directly (via phone, email, and in-person) to check in on their progress, address concerns, and provide support to help them stay on track.
* Maintain accurate records of member interactions and follow-up actions to ensure a consistent retention strategy.
* Work with members to assist them with billing issues, ensuring swift and professional resolution.
* Organise and oversee member engagement initiatives, events, and challenges to foster community spirit.
* Act as the first point of contact for member feedback, handling queries and concerns professionally.
* Develop corporate partnerships with local businesses to expand our corporate membership base and promote workplace wellbeing.
* Carry out regular gym floor checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and member satisfaction.
* Perform opening and closing checks to ensure the club is fully prepared and secure each day.
* Collaborate with the club team to continuously improve processes and deliver an outstanding member experience.
About You
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident engaging with individuals and businesses.
* Previous customer service experience (ideally within fitness, leisure, or hospitality — though not essential).
* Proactive, organised, and able to work independently to meet goals.
* Passionate about health, fitness, and creating positive member experiences.
* Results-driven with a focus on retention and community building.
