WOMENSWEAR PRODUCT DEVELOPER
Immediate Start | Temporary Contract
A globally recognised fashion business is seeking an experienced Womenswear Product Developer to join the team on an immediate-start temporary contract.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting the development of commercially driven collections across multiple womenswear categories. You will play a key role in managing the product lifecycle from concept through to bulk production, ensuring quality, margin and critical path deadlines are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage product development across multi-product womenswear ranges
* Work closely with Design, Buying and Technical teams to translate concepts into production-ready garments
* Liaise with overseas factories and suppliers on sampling, costings and timelines
* Track and manage the critical path to ensure on-time delivery
* Negotiate cost prices and support margin targets
* Oversee fittings and sample approvals
* Resolve development and production issues proactively
1. About You:
* Proven experience in womenswear product development within a fast-paced fashion environment
* Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrication and sourcing
* Confident working with overseas suppliers
* Commercially aware with strong costing experience
* Highly organised with excellent critical path management skills
* Available to start immediately
