We are delighted to be opening The Ivy Collection in Stratford-upon-Avon.

As we bring our distinctive style of dining to this renowned destination, we are looking for exceptional talent who take pride in delivering outstanding culinary experiences and who are ready to lead from the front from the very beginning.

We are now looking for an exceptional Head Chef to take full ownership of the kitchen, leading and inspiring a high-performing brigade, shaping the restaurant's culinary direction, and delivering a commercially strong, best-in-class operation. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, driving performance through clear KPIs, and ensuring operational efficiency across all areas of the kitchen.

This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence.

Responsibilities:
Lead the team through positive and constructive methods.
Achieving consistent GP results.
Accurate Labour forecast to ensure that targets are achieved.
Maintain a high customer satisfaction score.
Ensure the Prep Team & Goods receiver are following management instructions.
Precise ordering to ensure full menu availability and minimum wastage.
Ensure accurate daily due diligence.
Looking after staff wellbeing, working towards high staff retention.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high food standards.
Pioneer a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality and creativity.
Leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Complete understanding of EBITDA & GP.
Understanding PnLs to make positive cuts, increasing overall profit.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Experience in organising and leading a large kitchen team.
