Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our dedicated team working with children with disabilities. The role involves managing a mix of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Proceedings cases, with a focus on making a positive difference in children’s lives.
This position offers flexible working arrangements, provided statutory requirements and visits are completed. The team supports children with complex health needs and life-limiting conditions, assisting families through assessed short break offers. You will listen to children, respect their views, and ensure their voices inform all work, collaborating with families and multi-agency teams to develop effective plans with measurable outcomes.
In line with social care legislation and local government policies, you will deliver safe, person-centered social care services, making assessments and decisions on appropriate interventions. Using your social work expertise and excellent communication skills, you will build relationships with service users and partner agencies to meet their needs and achieve positive outcomes.

Ideal Candidate
* Registered with Social Work England as a qualified social worker.
* Hold SW, CSS, DipSW, or a Social Work Degree.
* Experience working within Social Services, statutory, or voluntary sectors.
* Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
* Excellent mediation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience working with diverse client groups in a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and social work practices.
* Minimum 4 years’ experience, including in children with disabilities (CWD).
