Construction Area Sales Manager
West of Scotland | Field-Based | Full-Time | Permanent
An established and growing machinery supplier is seeking an experienced Construction Area Sales Manager to manage a defined territory across the West of Scotland.
This is a field-based, Monday–Friday role focused on developing new business, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth within the construction sector.
The Role
Act as the primary contact for customers within your territory
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Promote machinery and associated services to prospective clients
Assess customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
Achieve and exceed sales targets
Maximise upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Provide regular performance reports to management
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionCandidate Profile
Previous plant, machinery, vehicle, or capital equipment sales experience preferred
Construction industry knowledge advantageous
Strong influencing and closing skills
Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships
Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused
Professional and confident communicator
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
IT literate with experience using CRM systemsFull product training provided.

OTE £50,000 – £60,000
