Role Overview
We are recruiting a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Motor Brush Driver to support Perth & Kinross Council's environmental and streetscape operations in the Pitlochry area. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver seeking stable, long-term work within a public-sector environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a Class 2 HGV motor brush vehicle, contributing to the cleanliness and presentation of local roads, and public spaces.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
* Start time: 06:00
* Finish time: 16:47
* Weekly rotating shift pattern:
* Week 1: Sunday to Tuesday
* Week 2: Sunday to Wednesday
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a Class 2 HGV motor brush vehicle safely and efficiently
* Carry out road, and public-area sweeping duties
* Complete daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting
* Work in accordance with health & safety legislation and council procedures
* Liaise professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and members of the public
* Maintain accurate records and report defects or issues promptly
Essential Requirements
* Category C (Class 2) HGV Driving Licence
* Valid Driver Digital Tachograph Card
* Driver CPC Qualification Card
* Previous experience driving HGV vehicles
* Strong awareness of health & safety practices
* Reliable, punctual, and capable of working early starts
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
