An interim opportunity is available for a Team Leader based at our offices in Lincoln for a period of 7 months, subject to review. The successful candidate will report to the Field Operations Team Manager and be responsible for leading a group of Tradespersons. The key focus of this role is to lead an efficient and productive team across a region. Key considerations for the successful running of your team include: ensuring they are working compliantly within H&S policies, coordinating programmes of work for them to undertake, maximising efficiencies in delivery, ensuring your team has the appropriate development and authorisations and effectively managing performance on a 1:1 basis. The starting salary will be £43,491 until training is successfully completed at which point will increase to £47,197. The ability to develop a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation, Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002 and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 Organised, with strong problem solving and the ability to work reactively as well as think and plan ahead Good communicator with the presence to build strong relationships with our customers and stakeholders of all levels An understanding of and the ability to effectively manage performance Knowledge of craft roles or the ability/willingness to quickly develop your understanding of these roles and the work activities in your team This role is subject to a satisfactory Barring Service, (DBS) check, depending on the role different levels of screening and vetting are required.
