My client manufactures bespoke products and solutions for a range of industries. They are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Corsham on a permanent basis.

JOB – Technical Sales Engineer
LOCATION – Corsham
TERM – Permanent
Required attributes
* An educational or hands-on background in Mechanical Engineering
* Have a varied skillset, with knowledge of Project Management, Design and Sales
* Experienced in or knowledge of Engineering environment would be ideal
* Able to manage projects from concept through to manufacture and installation
* Technical Engineering knowledge to understand quotations and queries
* Previous experience supporting customers in a similar technical / sales role would be beneficial
* Confident and driven for career progression
* Excellent communication skills are required
* Be self-motivated and driven
* Be keen to develop as part of an organisation long term
Responsibilities
* Providing technical support and supporting technical delivery of the company’s products and services
* Communicating with customers, responding to enquiries, and liaising with external sales teams
* Being involved in concept design and producing technical drawings
* Liaising with manufacturing providers
* Being involved in final assembly of products
* Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans
* Updating 3D models and drawings
* Handling queries and providing quotations to progress further sales opportunities
* Working with the Projects Team to convert client requirements into details designs and technical instructions
* Processing purchase orders onto the MRP system
