SEN Teacher – Morecambe:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive SEN school near to Morecambe. The successful candidate will hold a qualified teacher status and have previous experience teaching within an SEN school.
This is a full time role to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year.
The Role:
* Developing and delivering engaging lessons
* Differentiating learning activities to meet individual needs
* Working collaboratively with other staff and agencies
* De-escalating behaviour in a positive but effective manner
Position Details:
* Location: Morecambe
* Position: SEN Teacher
* Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full time/Part time: Full time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £180 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Up to date Safeguarding training within in the last year (desired but training can be provided)
* Previous experience of teaching within an SEN school/specialist provision
* QTS is essential
* Team Teach training would be highly desired
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
