Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing chilled coding and resolving any issues. Informing the Senior Chilled Coding Manager if any issues cannot be resolved.
* Monitoring product standards and having a sound knowledge of the quality control programmes implemented.
Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to and challenging any individual who is not working to these standards.
* Leading, supervising and motivating staff within the team.
* Ensuring any staff member who has been absent has completed a 'Return to Work' form and has been cleared and authorised to return to the factory floor and food handling.
* Liaising with chilled coding administrators on any order discrepancies or shortages.
* Identifying the training needs of factory operatives and supporting the training team in providing staff for training so these needs can be met.
* Oversee the loading of products on to customer vehicles.
* Always adhere to company policies including the personal hygiene policy, using correct manual handling techniques, and always wearing the correct PPE.
* Support and actively promote brand integrity and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by ensuring there is engagement and communication between teams, customers and suppliers that continually drives improvement.
* Provide cover for chilled coding managers as and when required.
* Assist and/or work in other areas/departments as and when required when asked to do so by a manager, senior manager, or company director.

Hours of Work
* Normal contractual hours of work are 48 per week. You will normally work an eight-day shift pattern, working four consecutive shifts of 12 hours per day, from or followed by four consecutive days off. However, your working times may vary and will depend on the demands of the role and the needs of the business.
