With all our employees focused on the success of our business, we work together to deliver products of exceptional quality and to provide our customers with excellent levels of service.\n\nWe employ over 120 people at our 4,000-square-metre production facility located near Glasgow, Scotland. The plant is home to state-of-the-art machinery, including the Manufacturing Resource Planning system, 3D design and CNC machines, enabling us to use the latest manufacturing techniques.\n\nWe produce high quality valves and pressure gauges for the Military, the Health Service, Oil and Gas Industry and Space Exploration. During your apprenticeship, you will be employed and trained across a wide range of manufacturing disciplines, gaining valuable experience in:\n\nCNC Turning Machines.\nCNC Milling Machines.\nManual Turning Lathes.\nCNC Programming.\nComputer Aided Design (CAD) and SolidWorks.\nTool Room Operations.\nValve and Gauge Assembly.\nEngineering Drawings and Precision Measurement.\nManufacturing Processes and Quality Standards.\nYou will work alongside experienced engineers and skilled machinists while developing your own technical abilities within a modern engineering environment.\n\nCollege Training & Qualifications:\nAs part of the apprenticeship programme, you will attend Forth Valley College on a day-release basis.\nOver the course of the 4-year programme, you will work towards achieving:\nNC in Mechanical Engineering.\nHNC in Mechanical Engineering.\n\nIn addition, within the workplace you will complete:\nSCQF Level 6 (SQA) in Mechanical Manufacturing (CNC Machining).\nSCQF Level 7 (SQA) in Mechanical Manufacturing (CNC Machining).\nThese qualifications will be supported through our structured in-house training and personal development programme. To join our team, we are looking for individuals who possess a positive hard-working attitude, who can also work well in a high-pressure engineering environment and show a passion for engineering. Apprentices who can thrive in problem solving situations and can communicate effectively and efficiently when working within our departments are essential to our company.\n\nTo be considered for the role candidates must have achieved a minimum of 3 National 5âs at Grade A or above â with at least 2 of these in Maths, English or a Science.
