Position:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Assistant at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do:
You will provide comprehensive, confidential administrative support within the Orthotics Department at Crosshouse Hospital. Responsibilities include managing patient and visitor enquiries, supporting the supply, repair, maintenance, and replacement of medical and orthopaedic appliances, and ensuring confidentiality and adherence to organisational policies. You will work proactively and independently, supporting the department's efficient operation.

Knowledge, training, and experience required:
* SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration or demonstrable experience.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Experience in developing and reporting performance and statistical data.
* Broad understanding of NHS and/or Social Care Services.
* Strong networking skills and ability to build positive relationships.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of health and social care information systems.
* Understanding of Caldicott guidelines and Data Protection requirements.
* Knowledge of services delivered by East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
* Understanding of Health and Safety in an office environment.
