CONTRACT ROLE – 3 MONTHS (MAY EXTEND TO 6)
ZedTalent's client, continue to push the boundaries of the design, manufacture, build and test of gas analysers and gas emission monitoring systems. Their equipment is found in a range of industrial settings. Key markets include process control, continuous emissions monitoring (CEMs), defence and security.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collect and analyse data to find and recommend new opportunities for improvement
* Lead the sourcing and procurement of indirect goods and services across the business.
* Ensure continuity of supply by managing supplier relationships and proactively addressing risks.
* Monitor supplier performance, conduct reviews and resolve pricing or invoice discrepancies.
* Negotiate and secure optimal terms, pricing and contracts.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies that improve efficiency and support business goals.
* Prepare accurate and timely purchase orders and maintain compliance with company targets and standards.
* Identify and assess new suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability and competitive pricing.
* Deliver regular updates, presentations and reports to internal stakeholders on procurement activities.
* Develop and publish documentation supporting requirements, standards, procedures and processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Solid background in indirect procurement (ideally 5 years + experience) with focus on CAPEX - Gas procurement experience a plus
* Ability to manage supplier relationships and deliver against performance targets
* Strong commercial awareness, attention to details, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Data analytics and ability to articulate clear initiatives from the data
* Contract negotiations & management
* Ability to collaborate with & influence stakeholders to deliver commercial value & risk mitigation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Oracle experience preferred but not essential
