Description
Key responsibilities:
* Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for industrial and manufacturing applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project specifications and timelines.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed designs.
* Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on-site as needed.
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
* Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and project progress.
* Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost-saving measures.
* Supporting group projects with the potential for some travel to different sites.
Profile
A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Hands-on experience in electrical design within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
* Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
* A strong understanding of electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
